Odin Brewery Take Over The Pige

Snugborough’s own Odin’s Manx Beer has swooped in and snagged the Thirsty Pigeon in Douglas.

The McAleer father-son team, Robert Senior and Junior, have decided it’s time to flap their wings and leave after over a decade of keeping their nest cosy.

Now, the team at Odin Brewery, who already have the award-winning Trafalgar Hotel in Ramsey under their belt, are gearing up to reopen the pub.

Word on the street (or rather, their shiny new Facebook page) is they’ll be ready for the TT, with a few nips and tucks to start, and some big surprises coming down the line.

They’re also on the hunt for some eager beavers (or mongooses, I suppose) to serve up real ale and keg beers.

Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or just a bit of TT excitement, they’ve got a spot for you.
