The gov appears to have been sending out letters for the Household Income and Expenditure Survey which include a bizarre reference to tomato puree.

While it looks at understanding household income and its sources and spending patterns, the letters have included a weird reference to how the survey will be ‘tomato puree conducted’
In a post widely shared on Facebook, one islander, Catherine, shared a picture of her letter on Isle of Man News and Politics where she said: ‘Got a letter from Cabinet Office today. Don’t really understand the ‘tomato puree’ reference at the top of the 2nd page…’
This led to others also saying they had received the letter, while some islanders questioned the sauce of the document.
Responding to this, the gov said: ‘While they might be a little red-faced in the Statistics office today 
, this has been fixed for the next batch of letters.
