Businesses Think Gov Plan Will Fail
83% believe air travel consistency and reliability have worsened in the past year.
Only 7% of businesses believe that the gov’s Economic Strategy will meet it targets.
The Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly economic survey found that 93% of business said it is ‘bound to fall short of its targets’.
Chamber’s survey showed that 83% of businesses expressed frustration with red tape hampering investment and hindering growth with these concerns being echoed across various sectors.
Chamber President Kristan McDonald said: ‘The message from the business community is loud and clear. They want to see more clarity on actions, deliverables, and timelines. Urgent action and stronger leadership are now sought to restore confidence and support economic growth.’
