LegCo to Meet in Afternoons
The change, which is not to do with MLCs preferring a lie in, is being trialed for up to six months.
The Legislative Council sitting time will be changing from 10.30 am to 2.30pm on Tuesdays with effect from February 6.

The Clerk of LegCo said the trial is taking place to reduce the occasions on which sittings of the branches overlap.
Where it is anticipated that tabled business will require a longer sitting LegCo will revert to 10.30am start.
Sittings will still be held in public and fully livestreamed via “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
