Our Alternatives to Triskelion Way

At least we’ll know there to go.

It’s been announced that the road leading to the brand new, £70,000,000 sea terminal will be called Triskelion way. A lovely name that has associations with the islands, but probably not the easiest to say with a scouse accent. We’ve come up with a few suggestions that might be slightly easier for our friends across the water.

Mann Way

No fannying about, this name is as Manx as the hills and tells you exactly what you need to know: it’s the way to Mann. I’m a personal fan of this because it also kind of sounds like a euphemism. I’ll let you imagine what ‘taking it up the Mann way’ could mean.

Sean Quaye Way

Georgie Best has an airport named after him, Maradona got a stadium. Our own Sean Quaye could have his own way.

No Way

Our reaction when we learned how much a sea terminal in Liverpool cost.

This is the Way

You’ve had a few too many after a stag do at the docks. You’re desperately trying to find the boat, your refuge. And there, you see the sign ‘This is the Way’: explicitly showing you the way home. A gorgeous moment.

Let’s start some beef x

Safe Way

A throwback to the greatest supermarket ever to be turned into a vaccine hub.

Can’t Pay, Take it Away

No, no it’s pronounced ‘Ju-ANN’. Don’t listen to the Spanish.

Way Boy

Patriotism at its best.
