Pet Tynwald
The sitting is due to be held on April 31.
First we had Junior Tynwald, now Gef can exclusively reveal plans to stage a Pet Tynwald.
To raise awareness of animal issues, Tynwald will host a special sitting in which the chamber will be taken over by pets belonging to MHKs and MLCs.
A Chief Barker will sit in the President’s chair and it is hoped that a parrot can be found to perform the role of Speaker.
The sitting is due to be held on April 31.
Gef’s political correspondent Sam Turtle said: ‘There was some concern about the mess that might result but, apparently, most sittings are full of crap anyway.’
