Shelter Meeting Tonight
Garff Commissioners unveiled plans for the shelter in November.
Good news for fans of requisition meetings, there is one tonight in Laxey to discuss the future of the village’s promenade shelter.
The future of the shelter has caused some controversy over the last year.
Called by Captain of the Parish Stephen Carter, following a request by constituents and is at the Working Men’s Institute from 7pm, doors open 6.30pm.
The future of the shelter has caused much debate in the village this year as disagreements between the local authority and the owners of Laxey Beach Shop Cafe.
