Portillo Show to Air Next Week
The former Tory mp met the President of Tynwald
Former Tory MP Michael Portillo will appear on BBC next week celebrating the island’s railways.
Great Coastal Railway Journeys will air on BBC2 at 6.30pm on Monday.
Described as a ‘paradise for rail lovers’, Portillo kicks off his UK tour on the island and is known to have interviewed Tynwald President Laurence Skelly during his time on the island.
The former Defence Secretary filmed on the island during the summer of 2021.
