Post Office Not Involved in Package Investigation

Isle of Man Post Office says it is aware of the Police investigation regarding the discovery of a large amount of undelivered packages and parcels, whose address labels and invoices have been removed.

A spokeswoman said: ‘IOMPO would like to place on record and assure its valued customers that this investigation is not in any way connected to its reliable and trusted delivery service.’
Missing Parcels
Earlier this week, the police asked the if, in the months leading up to Christmas 2021 and into January 2022, people ordered items to be delivered to addresses in Castletown, Ballasalla and the Ballamodha area that didn’t turn up.

Police have recovered a large amount of undelivered packages and parcels ranging in size, whose address labels and invoices have been removed. We strongly believe the addresses that these should have been delivered to would be in the south of the island.
