Saving Lives on TV
PSM’s episode will include their rescue of three people from a yacht
Douglas RNLI has announced that it too will feature on BBC2’s Saving Lives at Sea.
Last week Port St Mary’s volunteers announced they would be appearing on the first episode of the new series this Thursday.
Douglas RNLI said: ‘Tune in to episode two of Saving Lives at Sea on Thursday September 1 at 8pm on BBC2 and see some very familiar faces to Douglas RNLI.
‘We are incredibly proud and excited to see some of our own amazing crew on such a great TV show that highlights the commitment and work that the volunteers put into this charitable organisation everyday! Please tune in and join us in celebrating the hard work of our crew, and all the volunteers of the RNLI.’
We don’t yet know what will feature from Douglas, but PSM’s episode will include their rescue of three people from a yacht which saw a gallantry medal awarded to helm Richard Leigh for superb boat handling, seamanship, and courage.
