120mph Lap to R-plates!
After tearing around the TT Course at an average speed of 120.214mph earlier this year, sidecar ace Ryan Crowe can now do it again, legally, on his own, at a slightly more modest pace.
The four-time TT winner and lap record holder has officially passed his full A licence bike test, meaning he can now ride solo around the Mountain Course in just over an hour, like the rest of us mere mortals.
Ryan, who alongside his brother Callum dominated both sidecar races at this year’s TT, swapped his powerful three-wheeled machine for something a little tamer, an 11-horsepower Honda CBF, to take his test.
RideSafe Driving School shared a photo on Facebook of a grinning Crowe holding his certificate, congratulating him on the achievement and cheekily noting that he ‘managed to control himself as he went down Bray Hill’.
It comes just months after Ryan and Callum smashed the sidecar lap record at this year’s Isle of Man TT.
