FC Isle of Man
Back to the Bowl
Kick off is 6pm, gates open 5pm
FC Isle of Man welcome AFC Liverpool to the Bowl on Saturday night and Ravens fans will be hoping Paul Jones men aren’t in a giving mood.
With their midweek game postponed, the Ravens will be hoping Saturday gives them a chance to shake off last week’s defeat by Litherland REMYCA.
There are a few changes from last week’s squad, as keeper James Rice returns to the squad and Sam Caine is back in place of Jacob Crook.
Across the midfield, the impossibly young Tiernan Garvey and Kyle Watson will be keeping things ticking over, with Lee Gale, Charlie Higgins and captain Set Whitley providing the options out wide.
Up top, Tom Creer and Furo Davies will be hoping to find their scoring touch, while last week’s goalscorer Jack McVeeeey is always a threat.
As for their opponents, AFC Liverpool’s good season finds them in fourth, but they have only won three of their last six. The game is also a bit special as AFC Liverpool defender Finlay Heath returns to the island.
The former Peel man is dual-registered with Southport FC in the Vanarama North.
Kick off on Saturday is at 6pm, gates open at 5pm. You can grab your tickets here and we hear a certain man in a red suit is due to make an appearance…
We’ll be disappointed if we don’t see a picture of a certain Raymond Raven with Santa.
We won’t be down at the Bowl this weekend as Sam has taken an ill-deserved holiday, but we hear he plans to watch the game online, so there will be some updates on Gef throughout the evening.
However, it’s Saturday night, it’s under the lights, its FC Isle of Man v AFC Liverpool, get yourself down there.

Dean Kearns, James Rice, Tom Shimmin, Alex Maitland, Jack McVey, Jamie Corlett, Karl Clark, Sam Baines, Lee Gale, Tiernan Garvey, Charlie Higgins, Dominic McHarrie-Brennan, Kyle Watson, Ste Whitley, Tom Creer, Furo Davies
