Furo Davies returns to action for FC Isle of Man this weekend, in the only change from Wednesday’s squad which lost 3-2 away at Squires Gate.
After being 3-0 down at halftime on Wednesday, Paul Jones’ side managed to claw two back, but despite dominating possession, couldn’t find an equaliser.
This weekend brings the visit of Irlam, of Greater Manchester, who sit in 12th, having won the same number of games as FC Isle of Man (eight) but the Ravens have lost double the number of games as their opponents (20/10).
With the Ravens sitting just four points and one place above the relegation zone, it isn’t quite squeaky bum time, but it’s close.
As the club has said: ‘It cannot be underestimated how important it would be to get some points on the board in this fixture, so we would love to see as many fans down at the Bowl supporting the lads vociferously.’
