After last week’s last kick of the game winner from Charlie Higgins, FC Isle of Man welcome Bury AFC and their legion of fans to the Bowl this week.

Having disrupted one team’s bid for promotion, Paul Jones will be keen to see his side keep up their recent good results, which sees them fifth in the league’s form table.

Having been parachuted in at late notice last week, Ben Wilkinson keeps his place in goal, while the solid defensive base which the recent form has been built on is again kept in tact.

In midfield, Tiernan Garvey is back in contention, with Jacob Crook also returning, as Jones again largely sticks with the same squad as last week.

While upfront, Jones sticks with the same players who have brought three wins on the bounce for the Ravens.

Turning to the visitors, we know they have sold at least 450 tickets and up to 800 fans are expected to be making the hop across the Irish Sea.

Bury AFC arrive on Manx shores in indifferent form, including a shock 3-0 loss against relegation threatened Burscough last night, which all but ended their promotion chances.

When the two sides met earlier this year, Bury AFC won 4-0, but Paul Jones’ side are a different beast these days and with increasingly controlled and mature performances, they will be wanting to put on a show again this week.

This week’s game kicks off at 6pm, gates open, tickets etc are here.

Squad in full:

Sam Baines, Ryan Burns, Chris Cannell, Karl Clark, Jacob Crook, Sean Doyle, Tiernan Garvey, Charlie Higgins, Frank Jones, Alex Maitland, Ronan McDonnell, Jack McVey, Tom Shimmin, Ste Whitley, Ben Wilkinson, Michael Williams
