After three weeks on the road, FC Isle of Man are back on home ground this week as they welcome Glossop North End  to the Bowl.

Paul Jones’ men lost away at West Dids last week but have been in better form recently.

The last time the sides met, the Ravens were flying high and swept Glossop aside with a 4-0 win courtesy of goals from Mikey Willians (2), Frank Jones and Dean Pinnington.

Looking around the squad, Charlie Higgins is back in for the Ravens fresh from scoring five goals in the local league last week as Ramsey demolished St Mary’s 6-1 while Dean Pinnington makes a welcome return after missing last week through injury.

Elsewhere, Danny Gerrard returns, while Ben Wilkinson lets set to continue his run of games between the sticks.

Glossop are currently languishing near the foot of the table in 22nd, but have twice beaten second placed Bury in recent weeks so are not to be underestimated, with Nathan Valentine their biggest threat with seven goals so far this season while Harry Freedman and Jacques Etia have chipped in with six apiece.

The Ravens are currently in 14th place, nine points off the play-off spots and need to find a vein of consistency if they are to be challenging for promotion come the end of the season.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 6pm.
