The team had travelled over to England at 7am on Saturday only to find their game called off due to frost.
After a weekend of disappointment, Ramsey Rugby Club is hoping to get home this evening, having been stuck in the UK since Saturday.

With a visiting party of 21, the team had been due to fly back tomorrow but Storm Isha led to their flight being cancelled, leading to another night in a different hotel.
Despite this, the lads seem to be keeping their spirits high, Matt told us: ‘Phone chargers and toothpaste at a premium.’ No one has spare kit. Socks undys tshirt. Manchester is £25 away in an Uber for supplies. The lads are keeping chipper though.’
Since then, he has said the team is heading to Liverpool for this evening’s flight and hope to be back on island this evening.
