Fireworks

Douglas fireworks display will be returning in November, controversially being held on November 4. The fireworks will get underway at 7.15pm when Mayor of Douglas, Councillor Janet Thommeny will lead the judging for the Best Guy competition, for which prizes of £100, £50 and £25 are up for grabs.

The display, themed to music, will then begin at 7.30pm – fired from a barge moored opposite the War Memorial from where spectators are encouraged to watch and where catering outlets will also be located.

Business Workshops

Business Isle of Man in partnership with Chamber of Commerce has launched ‘Small Business Workshops’ for on-island businesses.

The series of 12 workshops will begin in October 2022 and will be delivered in collaboration with experts across industry, business owners and government specialists, covering a broad range of topics including; Company Structures, VAT, Basic Accounting, Digital Marketing, Scaling up for Export, Accessing Finance, Ecommerce, Payment Solutions and Business Resilience.
