Readying Rennie

Manx boxer Matty Rennie is training hard ahead of his fight on March 4 against Desiré Adami. Part of his training has seen him sparring with two time world champion Robin Reid.

Saying 2023 will be a ‘career defining year’, the Manxman, who is 8-0-1 since turning pro, has made it clear that he wants to win a title this year.

To achieve that, he will have to get past Adami, also of VIP Promotions, with both men putting their undefeated status on the line. In his last bout, Rennie 40-36 points win over Russia’s Rustem Fatkhullin.

You can follow Rennie and get tickets for his fight through his Facebook page.
