T45 Jiu-Jitsu have been back in action.
Kane Stott and Jordan Christian spent last weekend kicking ass and taking names across at Grappling Industries in Manchester.
Kane competed in both Gi and no Gi, while it was no Gi only for Jordan. For the novices among you, here’s what that means:
‘Gi Jiu-Jitsu is grappling with the use of a traditional Gi, which allows you to grab the clothing of your opponent. No Gi is grappling without the traditional uniform, instead you wear shorts and a rash guard. In no Gi you cannot grab your opponent’s clothing.’
Kane bagged himself the gold in his Gi division with two submission wins. His no Gi division consisted of a very large bracket and a loss in the semi finals saw him finish in 4th.
Jordan also took home silverware, he got the bronze in the no Gi division with two submission victories.
