Castletown’s Body Craft Gym has gone up for sale, just weeks after the owners said they had been forced to close due dispute with the landlord over outstanding debts.

It said: ‘Currently paused trading whilst the sale process is completed. Long lease agreed on the premises with the Landlord for the incoming purchaser.
‘Would suit an established gym operator, an owner/manager or an investor. Profitable business, with previously very high levels of monthly membership, corporate memberships and corporate contracts, weekly class revenue as well as other sources of income from licensing of rooms within the building (beauty, barbers etc). All numbers available to interested parties.’
Included in the sale is all the gym equipment and a long leasehold with the landlord.
Earlier this month, the gym’s owner said the landlord has ‘changed the locks and has forced our temporary closure with no notice’. They added: ‘ And where as we appreciate there was some debt owing due to Covid the amounts have greatly decreased and we were in negations for a new long term lease on the expiry of ours in around two years completing a 10 year agreement.
‘We the company feel this is unnecessary and is heavy handed to force our closure.’
