I’m Going to Win the Parish

With the Parish Walk this weekend one of the competitor has made the bold claim that he will win it.

Raymond the Raven, the incredibly unofficial FC Isle of Man mascot, is taking on the Parish to raise cash for the club and Isle Listen.

Speaking to Gef, Raymond said: ‘I’ve already done in excess of 11 and a half miles in training, so I’m pretty confident I’m gonna win it.’

If for whatever reason Raymond doesn’t achieve his aim of winning the Parish, he has decided that Rushen could make a good finishing point, mostly because he hopes to see his favourite player there, the iconic Furo Davies.

He added: ‘There’s a small but significant chance that I might actually set on fire if I try to go any further than that.’
