Manxie Nikki Arthur has won a gruelling 160 mile race through the English countryside.
Nikki won the Montane Winter Spine Challenger North, a non-stop, 160 mile race along the Pennine Way from Hardraw to Kirk Yetholm.
Having started at 8am on Monday, she finished the race juster after 12.17pm today with a time of 52 hours, 17 minutes and 19 seconds.
Her nearest rival has yet to finish and is about two hours behind on the current tracker.
Fellow Manxie Orran Smith is fifth in the longer Montane Winter Spine Race.
Nikki has been cheered on by supporters from the island including Gef’s friend Ruairi Poole.
