Rain Can’t Dampen Olympic Spirit
The team has had a highly successful week
The Isle of Man Special Olympics Team has had another successful day at the Summer Games in a rain soaked Berlin.
The team has had a highly successful week and really done the island proud with all of their performances.
Nicola Wooldbridge and Julie Naylor achieved fifth place in the Bocce doubles competition, before Julie then took sixth place in the singles, with Nicola taking the Gold!
Elsewhere Tomas Dawe picked up a place ribbon for shot put gold and Rebecca Maller landed sixth place finish in the long jump.
