Ravens Take Flight

Dean Leece makes a welcome return to the Ravens squad this weekend as Paul Jones’ side look to build on last week’s win.

Jack McVey’s penalty was enough for FC Isle of Man beat Wythenshawe 1-0 last weekend.

With Tuesday’s game away at Charnock Richard postponed due a waterlogged pitched, Jones has been able to train twice with the full squad this week.

Burscough are in good form at the moment, beating Longridge Town 3-1 last time out and are eight in the league’s moment recent form table, suggesting they are better than their position in 19th.

While the Ravens didn’t play in midweek, most of the league did, but only one of the top 10 won and despite their recent indifferent form, the play-off spots are just seven points away.

This Saturday’s game kicks off at 3pm and Gef will be there to share updates throughout.
