Ravens Take Flight

FC Isle of Man head to Squires Gate tonight, with the Ravens hoping the return of Dean Leece can bolster a team that has recently been a tad shy in front of goal.

Defeat on Saturday to Kendal Town was the Ravens’ fifth in a row, a run which has seem them slip to just one place above the relegation zone.

Looking ahead to this evening, interim boss Paul Jones has named a 17 man squad which, as well as the return of Leece, sees Ryan Burns back after his recent injury, while Morgan Naylor, fresh from an impressive game for Geordies last weekend, also returns to the squad.

As for Squires Gate, they have drawn one and lost one since their 4-1 win over the Ravens at the Bowl last month.

Tonight’s game kicks off at 8pm and Gef will be sharing major updates, as well as HT and FT scores.

After Wednesday’s game, the Ravens will welcome 12th placed Irlam to the Bowl on Saturday evening. When the sides met back in September, the Greater Manchester side ran out 3-1 winners.
