Sienna’s Outstanding Season
Last year Sienna was recognised as one of England Hockey’s rising stars
It has been a busy final month of domestic hockey in England for Manxie Sienna Dunn.
Last year Sienna was recognised as one of England Hockey’s rising stars at the prestigious Hockey Writers’ Club youth and junior awards.
This season, her Repton U18 HC team finished runner up in the National Cup final whilst Ladies team won the Midlands Premier League gaining promotion to the National League and last week they won the Tier 2 Cup at Lee Valley Stadium completing the club treble to add to the school double to cap off an outstanding season for the squad.
Sienna has been travelling with the England U18s to play in the Netherlands, taking on the hosts twice as well as a match against France. The tour saw her gaining three more caps and two goals to her tally a successful account was made by the team.
Despite a long season, training is continuing for Sienna and her teammates for the next series of fixtures to be played in France at the end of the month where they will take on Belgium, France and Ireland.
These friendlies are all preparation for the Euros which are taking place in Germany in July.
