The Conspiracy Heads to Bury
While the Ravens have got used to life on the road recently, they have been accompanied by an ever growing and increasingly vocal travelling support and tonight will be no different.
Tonight is one of the biggest nights in FC Isle of Man’s young history as Paul Jones leads his side into Gigg Lane, home of Bury FC.
The Ravens come into the game without a win in six, but showed in the abandoned game on Saturday that they have the firepower to bring that run to an end.
While the Ravens have got used to life on the road recently, they have been accompanied by an ever growing and increasingly vocal travelling support and tonight will be no different.
Jones and his team will also be flanked by a boat load of fans from the island, with 70 due to set sail at 2pm this afternoon to Liverpool before catching a coach through to Bury ahead of the game with an overnight sailing back from Heysham to cap off a 14 hour round trip, that’s dedication!
Away from that group, there are fans coming from across the UK while some who have chosen to fly over and others have already set off this morning from Heysham, taking the travelling support well into triple figures.
Organised by Bruce Parkinson, the travelling support group has called itself the conspiracy, the collective name for a group of ravens.
Not only is the fan support going, but Gef is going to! We’ll be providing updates from Gigg Lane, as well as chatting to fans and drinking in the match day atmosphere.
