Weather Continuing to Hit Racing
The warm-up lap has been cancelled.
Update: 1.30pm, the Clerk of the Course has confirmed another one hour delay to proceedings.
Organisers of the MGP have had to shuffle plans for today’s races, as the Manx weather continues to refuse to play ball.
The warm-up lap has been cancelled.
A statement said: ‘We want to give competitors the best possible course conditions for racing and, if possible, preserve full race distances. As the roads are now closed, we are doing to take the opportunity to run our MV Agusta demonstration lap and a course inspection lap to give conditions more time to improve.
‘With all the factors considered, we have decided to cancel today’s warm up lap. We will run the races when conditions are fit to do so, and if we have to delay further this may result in a reduction in race duration.’

11.30am Roads Close
2.30pm Course Inspection Lap
2.40pm Sidecar Tyre Test – 1 lap
2.45pm MV Agusta Demonstration Lap By Dave Roper
3.30pm Mylchreest Group Senior Manx Grand Prix – 4 laps Start List
5.10pm: Sidecar Tyre Test – 1 lap
5.45pm: RST Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix – 4 laps Start List
