Your MGP Road Schedule
Despite a somewhat mixed response to the shortened format for the MGP last year, this centenary year is continuing with it.
With the glorious Manx sunshine beating down on us/rain once again ruining a decent August (delete as applicable at time of reading) the MGP is nearly upon us.
Today’s schedule is currently as it was. However, with the weather looking a bit Manx, we may see a few changes.
Friday August 25, roads closed from 12.30pm until 4.30pm
There is a potential contingency closure from 6pm until 9pm, but we’ll update if necessary on this
Schedule: 1pm Senior & Classic Superbike Qualifying, 1.30pm Junior, Lightweight & Classic Senior Qualifying and 2.40pm Sure Lightweight Manx Grand Prix – 3 laps.
Saturday August 26, roads closed from 11am until no later than 9pm
Schedule: 11.30am Warm up lap, 12.45pm Carole Nash Classic Senior Manx Grand Prix – 4 laps, 3pm Made at the Manx Grand Prix’ Parade – More details and 4pm MGP Supporters Club Junior Manx Grand Prix – 4 laps.
Sunday August 27, no closures planned
There is a potential contingency closure from 12.45pm until 6pm, but we’ll update if necessary on this.
Monday August 28, roads closed 9.30am until no later than 9pm
Schedule: 10.15am Warm up lap, 11.30am, Mylchreest Group Senior Manx Grand Prix – 4 laps and 2.15pm RST Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix – 4 laps.
Tuesday August 29, no closures planned
There is a potential contingency closure from 9.30am until 4.30pm, but we’ll update if necessary on this.
