Roadworks Getting Underway

A temporary speed limit comes into force later this morning on the approach to the Mountain Road.

The road between Hillberry in Onchan and the Creg ny Baa will be reduced to 40mph.

The restriction is to allow for a number of different road maintenance tasks to take place.

Speeds will be further reduced to 20mph through work sites. Temporary traffic lights will be in use where necessary. Work is to include road surface patch repairs, refreshing lining and drainage maintenance.

Work is expected to take about one week.
