The bridge has developed a fault which requires urgent repairs.
Ramsey Swing Bridge will be closed 7am tomorrow for up to three days.
The bridge has developed a fault which requires urgent repairs.
The nature of the repairs mean that it will not be possible to open the bridge to road traffic until the issue is rectified.
To allow boats to access the inner harbour, the bridge will be left in the “swung” position during the closure.
An emergency road closure order granted for up to three days (from 7am tomorrow). This will be lifted and the road reopened if repairs are completed sooner than anticipated.
