Of the 893 passengers who passed through the airport, only five of their flights were operated time.
Eleven of the 18 scheduled flights out of Ronaldsway were delayed on Monday.
In a post on Facebook it also said that two flights (prizes for guessing which ones) were also cancelled.
Of the 893 passengers who passed through the airport, only five of their flights were operated time.
With both easyJet Gatwick flights cancelled due to issues with the aircraft, including the second flight being delayed to ‘outside airport operating hours’.
Of the 11 flights the airport said: ‘This specific aircraft delay is a result of the late arrival of the previous flight that utilised the same plane that will be departing. This causes the current flight to take off late and creates a domino effect, causing passengers at other airports to board the aircraft later as well.’
The post added: ‘We understand there are concerns across the community about ongoing disruptions in the aviation industry affecting our flight schedule. Yesterday we experienced some disruption to our schedule, and would like to reassure customers that we are working with airline partners and authorities to minimise impact to your travel plans as far as possible.
‘We appreciate your patience and understanding during these uncertain times and remain committed to keeping you informed as we continue to monitor and respond to the situation.’
