Ambulance Called to Harbour as Manxman Cancelled

An incident in Douglas Harbour has led to the cancellation of tonight’s Heysham sailing.
The sailing was due to leave at about 7.45pm.
An ambulance was called to the Sea Terminal with witnesses saying it went into the secure area where vehicle passengers check in.
The ambulance was in attendance for some time, as was another emergency service vehicle.
The Steam Packet said: ‘Due to an incident in Douglas Harbour this evening the Master has decided to cancel this sailing.’
The incident is believed to have happened while the Manxman was berthing after arriving from Heysham this evening.
