Ben to Sail as Manxman Stays Home

The Manxman will not be operating tonight’s Heysham sailing, with the Steam Packet opting to send the Ben-my-Chree instead.

This evening’s weather forecast has been the deciding factor.

The Steam Packet has said that the Ben will leave Douglas at 8.15pm, returning at 2.15am, with passengers asked to check in as normal.

Today’s Liverpool sailings have already been cancelled.

Manxman completed the overnight sailing last night before heading out of the harbour at about 6.45am and has since been circling around off the east coast of the island.

The Manxman is currently operating under temporary restrictions on entering harbours while crews continue training on her.
