Fog Hits Flights
With the weather due to clear up, fights for later on this morning are showing as running to time.
With fog enveloping the island, it is another difficult day for flights in and out of Ronaldsway.
While some of the earliest flights got out, the rest of the morning is showing delays and cancellations.
The two early Loganair flights to London City and Liverpool did manage to get away, but both of this morning’s easyJet flights to and from Liverpool and Manchester have been cancelled.
easyJet’s Gatwick flight, due to arrive at 9.25am has now also been cancelled, with the return flight also obviously not operating. All other flights this morning are now showing as cancelled or delayed other than the inbound Dublin flight which is due at 11.50am.
Other flights for the later in the day are also showing as delayed including Loganair’s Birmingham and easyJet’s Belfast flights.
With the weather clearing up, other fights for later on today are showing as running to time.
Over the weekend, airport chiefs confirmed that Ronaldsway’s runway has to close in the following hours due to rules around ATCO rest periods and training.
