Loganair Adds Extra Heathrow Flight
A second Isle of Man to Heathrow flight will also run on Saturdays through the summer
Loganair has announced an expansion of its Heathrow services for this summer, with changes to flight times coming too.
The Scottish airline serves several routes from Ronaldsway to across the UK.
Included in the changes is a second Saturday summer service to the UK capital and ‘improved flight times on both the Isle of Man and City of Derry routes at London Heathrow’.
The new timetable will see a new earlier arrival time at Heathrow, opening up a much wider range of same-day flight connections to North America. The daily Heathrow service will now leave the Isle of Man at 9.45am and arrive at London Heathrow Terminal 2 at 11.20am, making connections to the likes of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver and Seattle more possible.
A second Isle of Man to Heathrow flight will also run on Saturdays through the summer, offering an afternoon travel option in addition to the daily morning flight.
An additional London Heathrow Sunday service will also be offered between March 31 and June 9.
Luke Lovegrove, Loganair’s COO said: ‘Our routes to Heathrow have gone from strength to strength since we started our services from T2 last April and, with both the Elizabeth Line and Heathrow Express rapid connections linking Heathrow with central London, the improvements to flight times assure a full working day in London.
‘We continue to fly to and from some of the most remote destinations in the country, and this summer will provide unrivalled regional connectivity for these areas, led by customer demand.’
