Manxman Sailings Scrapped – More At Risk Tomorrow
Both tonight’s Manxman sailing to Heysham and tomorrow morning’s return to Douglas have been cancelled due to the weather.
The Manxman was supposed to leave Douglas at 7:45pm, arriving in Heysham at 11:30pm, and then turn around for a 2:15am return trip back to Douglas. But with the weather taking a nasty turn, both crossings are officially off.
Heads up! Tomorrow’s 8:45am sailing from Douglas to Heysham, and the 2:15pm return, are also at risk of disruption or cancellation.
The final call will be made by the Master at 7am tomorrow.
If you were set to travel, make sure to get in touch with the Steam Packet’s reservations team on 01624 661661 for more info.
And in case you haven’t noticed, the rain’s sticking around tonight, with heavy downpours expected and an increasing easterly wind.
There’s also a heads up for potential surface water flooding in usual spots, so be cautious if driving out there!
More rain expected tomorrow, lasting until late afternoon/early evening, so brace yourselves, folks.
Winter is coming!
