Manxman’s Water Trouble

The Steam Packet has apologised for issues with the Manxman’s water supply which has left it unable to offer hot drinks.

Passengers have pointed out issues with the drinks available onboard on social media, with some saying there was no drinking water available.

The company said that the issue was caused by ‘air in the freshwater supply’ which has now been fixed.

It said: ‘We have fixed the problem but as a precaution are waiting on test results to ensure the water can be consumed.’

As a result however, hot drinks will not be available on tonight’s sailing to Heysham.
