Much Better Day at Ronaldsway

Wednesday saw just two flights delayed at the airport.

Of the 15 departures, carrying 733 passengers, 13 went on time.

Both of the two delayed flights were delayed by up to an hour.

The airport said: ‘Yesterday’s statistics show that there were only a limited number of delays to the schedule, however, we would like to remind passengers that Loganair has announced a number of delays to today’s schedule, due to crew sickness. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport as normal for their flight, unless otherwise instructed by their airline.

‘For the latest estimated arrival and departure times, please check your airline website or app. Additionally, yesterday Loganair announced that the outbound flight to Birmingham has been cancelled due to technical issues with the operating aircraft.

‘Passengers affected by these disruptions are encouraged to contact their airline for further guidance. Your understanding is appreciated.’
