Croatian Champ to Make Isle of Man TT Bow
The triple champion 28-year-old will race his own Yamaha YZF-R6 machine in the two four-lap Supersport races.
Reigning Croatian Supersport Champion Loris Majcan will make his debut at this year’s TT.
The triple champion 28-year-old will race his own Yamaha YZF-R6 machine in the two four-lap Supersport races.
Hailing from Zagreb, Majcan has been racing professionally in Croatia and across Europe for nine years, competing in both the Superbike and Supersport categories throughout his career although it’s the Supersport class where he’s enjoyed the most success.
Majcan recently visited the Isle of Man where he is said to theve impressed the TT rider liaison officers with his attitude, application, and course knowledge.
He said: ‘It’s been a great desire and a personal goal of mine to contest the Isle of Man TT Races for some time so for it to be happening this year really is a dream come true
I consider it to be at the top of someone’s motorsport career and a place to really show your talents. Rider skills are valued more than anything and I’m extremely happy to be participating at this World-famous event this year and in the years to come.’
