Motorists Using Footpath
The trail can’t be used by vehicles beyond the TT Access Road.
The Police say they have been receiving complaints regarding motor vehicles using the Heritage Trail between Douglas and Crosby.
Obviously, this isn’t allowed.
The Roads Policing Unit said: ‘This is a no no. Vehicles are prohibited from using this due to the high volume of pedestrians and cyclists. We are actively enforcing this with marked and unmarked patrols.
‘This is a polite request, if you get stopped then you will be receive a ticket.’
