Two Arrested for Entering Course

Police have arrested two people after a couple were photographed entering the course near the Creg-ny-Baa.

Pictures showed the people on the section coming down from the Mountain when the roads were closed.

Officers said they have also attended other reports of spectators entering or crossing the course when it is closed, saying this is ‘totally unacceptable and incredibly dangerous’.

They said: ‘A big thank you to all our followers in relation to the post about two persons on closed roads at the Creg Ny Baa. As a result of your help two individuals have been arrested and will be dealt with. Please take note of all signs and advice as no chances are given.’
