Island Set For Freezing Night
Grab your thermals and maybe even a sled (for emergencies), because parts of the island might be like an ice rink tonight!
The ever-watchful team at Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for icy conditions starting from 8pm tonight (Monday) until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday).
With temperatures set to plummet below zero, untreated surfaces are at risk of becoming treacherously slippy.
If you’ve still got puddles lurking from earlier rainfall, they’re about to level up into icy patches designed to ruin your morning commute!
Tomorrow’s forecast promises a mostly dry day, so by lunchtime, we might be back to the usual battle against the wind.
But don’t get too comfortable – thicker clouds and the usual rain are set to make an appearance by the evening.
As for Wednesday? Forecasters warn of strong winds with a chance of gales, so you’ll want to hold onto your hats, umbrellas, and maybe even small pets.
