More Rain On The Way

Grab your brollies, the island’s in for another soaking tonight.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain from 6pm this evening until 6am tomorrow (Thursday), covering the whole island.

Up to 30mm of rain could fall in some areas, with a risk of surface water flooding and damp roads thanks to already saturated ground.

It follows another wet spell yesterday, which saw flooding reported in several areas and a reminder from the Department of Infrastructure to drive to the conditions, especially on the Mountain Road.

Basically, expect puddles and poor visibility.
