Wintry Showers…in Late March!

Wintry showers… in late March?! Yep, you read that right.

The Ronaldsway Met Office has slapped a yellow warning on the island for tomorrow morning, Wednesday 25 March 2026, with the highest roads in for a chilly surprise.

Expect scattered showers overnight turning wintry, with a smattering of snow or hail possible above 700–1,000ft. And yes… there’s a risk of ice too, so maybe hold off on any early-morning speed records.

The warning runs from 3am to midday, so if you’re planning to hit the hills, top up your hot drinks and check the forecast first.

It’s Mother Nature reminding us she doesn’t really care about the calendar. Stay safe out there!
