Chances are if you’re a business owner on the Isle of Man, you’ll be familiar with the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce. Established for over 60 years, they now have 450 members, who represent some of the largest businesses on the Isle of Man.
Unless you’ve been firmly under a rock for the last few months, you’ll be aware of the strain COVID-19 has had, and continues to put on our local economy. In light of this, the Chamber of Commerce have launched their Business Advisory Service. Available for use by all businesses (regardless of whether they are a current member of the Chamber of Commerce or not), this free to use service provides an opportunity for businesses across the Island to share in each others’ knowledge, and navigate the unique challenges they are facing together; whether it’s assistance applying for Government support schemes or moral support.
Whilst this will be great for short term more urgent matters, it is also there to address longer term worries too – help is easy to access, through a ‘mentee’ and ‘mentor’ format; meetings can be arranged or questions can be asked as and when they arise, with quick responses an added bonus.
