The Santa Clause (1994)

Not to be confused with yesterday’s Santa Claus: The Movie. This one stars a disgruntled Tim Allen who begrudgingly becomes Father Christmas after pushing the original off a roof.. It’s not quite as dark as that but it’s basically what happens. He eventually embraces his new role and repairs his relationship with his son in the process. Because it means he only has to see him one night a year. The film also highlights Santa’s dislike of Soy milk so if you were planning on leaving a glass of it out to go with some mince pies this Christmas Eve, don’t bother.
