Oooooo we’re into Christmas ghost story territory. Inspired by the long-standing tradition of swapping spooky tales around a fire at Christmas, which dates back to the early 1800s. And what better way to merge tradition and modernity than with an episode of Black Mirror.

This one brings a whole new horrific meaning to Wizard’s ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’.

Be warned. Rather than leaving you with that nice, playful sort-of spooked feeling, Black Mirror carries with it horror in the form of existential dread about modern society and where it’s heading. If you can’t sleep after it, I suggest another sherry. It’s disgusting and will make you wash it down with harder liquor, which will knock you out nicely.
