Gef Has Clocked Off Early…Off to the Awards for Excellence

Right, that’s it. Gef’s packed up his laptop, shut the blinds, unplugged the ring light and sprinted out the door. Why? Because it’s Awards for Excellence night!

Yes, the 2025 Media Isle of Man Awards for Excellence are happening tonight at the Villa Marina, where around 1,000 attendees will gather to celebrate businesses, community champions and people who’ve done far more with their year than Gef has.

Hosted by the ever-slick Juliet Mann, the ceremony will dish out 16 prizes, plus a special global ambassador award.

Gef, of course, plans to behave impeccably. By which we mean: he’ll be trying to blend in with the dignitaries while simultaneously raiding the buffet like it’s his natural habitat.
