Fynoderee and Davisons Ice Cream have this week both seen their products added to the supermarket giant’s shelves and freezers (because it’s ice cream).
Greig Davison said: ‘Had the privilege of taking our first ever delivery down to Tesco’s Superstore at Lake rd today, hopefully, the first of many to come. Big thanks to Andy and Nigel at Tesco for their time in getting everything set up down there for us.
‘Remember if you’re popping in to pick up some ice cream from Tesco, or any of our other wonderful island based retail customers, take a freezer bag with you !!! this helps to keep the product at the best quality possible as even a slight change in temperature can cause the lactose in your ice cream to crystallise which isn’t pleasant on the taste buds.’
Fynoderee Distillery has also seen its gins added to the stores shelves this week.
It said: ‘Our first ever TESCO delivery has landed at the Lake Road, Douglas store this morning and to celebrate we have ‘popped up’ for some tastings of our RNLI Edition Manx Dry Gin and our Glashtyn Manx Spiced Manx Rum!
